Join Kylie for a yin style yoga practice, suitable for all levels, incorporating shapes to relieve deeply held myofascial tension followed by a loving kindness meditation practice, known as "metta"- to fill our own cup and offer loving kindness to those people and places in the world that need it.
Kylie is a certified mindfulness and One Giant Mind meditation teacher and has spent many years exploring the ancient practice of yoga. She's also a practicing physiotherapist who has spent extensive time studying the mind and body connection. Kylie reads neuroscience research for fun!
She is passionate about taking students on a journey to transform their lives through yoga and meditation. She believes our relationship with life transforms when we begin the journey of self discovery.
Her extensive time studying the mind and body through meditation, yoga, physiotherapy and movement adds a unique dimension to her teachings. Her mission is to draw her students out of their thinking mind to experience a deeper self awareness that reveals the true self.
Mindful Meditation Australia is excited to host Kylie and offer this experience to our community.
100% of ticket sales will be donated to the Red Cross to support those who need it most in the wake of the bush fires. Kylie will also graciously be donating her teaching fee to the cause.
A Yin yoga class usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body - the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for minutes at a time, and are intended to promote rest, relaxation, mindfulness and recovery.
Places are limited, so please secure your ticket ASAP to avoid missing out.
