At Mindful Meditation Australia we’ve lived the long-term benefits of mindfulness and meditation, and have personally experienced its transformative potential.
Mindful Meditation Australia is founded on the principle that mindfulness and meditation practices have the potential to improve the mental, emotional and physical wellbeing of all.
To encourage, promote and support the practice of mindfulness and meditation throughout our country, reinforced by ongoing research, and also to provide people with mindfulness and meditation skills and tools to cultivate greater self-awareness, resulting in a happier and more harmonious Australian community.
2016 is about building a strong foundation for Mindful Meditation Australia. The year is dedicated to progressing our first research project – a case study, building our steering committee, and developing future program trials.
Mindful Meditation Australia’s focus in 2017 will be on schools. We’ll trial programs based on research results from our 2016 case study, and then develop courses to be delivered in West Australian schools. In addition, we’ll continue to fund research and develop key relationships with other mindfulness and meditation service providers.
Mindful Meditation Australia will seek to expand our service reach into a range of additional sectors. From schools to aged care, prisons, businesses, to transforming perinatal care and potentially even supporting our defence forces. We’ll forge key partnerships to develop truly supportive courses for all.
In 2019 Mindful Meditation Australia will take time to evaluate our accomplishments, including our research and services in order to solidify and strengthen our approach.
